3. WHAT IS NOTES MANAGER
   Text Notes made easy to Refer and Store!

Whenever you come across some good text material when browsing online or in some email and in short anywhere on your PC you store it in a text file. Have you ever thought how hard it becomes to find the file for future reference. Notes Manager solves the program by storing your text data and showing you a list of headers for easy future reference. The data is stored in a single text file as records and hence becomes easier to use. It does not keep the whole big file in memory. So, no extra use of your precious RAM. Now, It could not be any easier for you to take notes while you are online or offline.

The software uses a text file database storage for managing your notes. It is a simple design and does not offer any protection to your data. However if you are looking for something more secure you can find many software on the web but at a price! (Hint Hint!!)


4. BACKING UP YOUR DATA

The Notes Manager generates a data file with .nmf extension. All your contents/ notes are stored in this file. If you are storing information which is important I recommend you to create copies of that file by using the "Save as" option for backup.


5. MAKING COPIES OF NOTES

To make one or more copies of existing notes just press "NEW NOTE". Then select the existing note you want to make a copy of. The note would appear in the TITLE and BODY windows. Now press SAVE and a new copy is created!


6. DISCLAIMER

a. The software is a freeware and is provided as is on basis.
b. I bear no liability whatsoever the damage, if so, in the form of loss of data.
c. The software is provided with no assurance for user desired output and perfection.
d. The software is free for general use and can only be freely distributed on storage diskettes, BBS and internet provided the distribution package contains all files as in the original distribution and with no reverse engineering.

8. UPDATES SINCE PREVIOUS VERSIONS

	a. 'Save to HTML' feature added.
	b. Capability to handle large size notes in simillar but smaller pieces is added. (This is for efficient memory usage)
	c. Form resizing option is added.
	d. Date field is added to the record length, for easy access to notes by date.
